OTHER THINGS TO KNOW MORE ABOUT UNPLEASANT BREATH (BAD BREATH)

In my previous Article , i share about the issue on "HOW TO INFORM OTHERS ABOUT BAD BREATH..

For this next article I want to share with you on "HOW TO DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE BAD BREATH etc...

FIRST THING WE MUST KNOW WHAT COMMON FOODS TO AVOID,WHICH CAUSES BAD BREATH:

1. GARLIC...You do not need to stop eating these products, but be aware that the oils from garlic and onions can stay in your system and cause bad breath (halitosis) for a couple of days. Clove oil, eucalyptus, peppermint, sage, tea tree oil, thyme oil, and caraway help to inhibit bacteria growth and some can be taken before eating. Chewing parsley after eating can help also.

2. CURRY SPICES...Hot sauce, curry, spices and hot food can really give a meal a kick, but afterward you may end up suffering from hours of halitosis, indigestion and heartburn.
While these foods may be tasty, they can contribute to bad breath in a number of ways. First and foremost, they simply leave a film of spice on the tongue that tinges every exhalation with the smell of spice.

3. CABBAGES...Temporary bad breath can occur after eating certain foods, such as onions and cabbage, which contain high levels of sulfur compounds. When these foods are digested, the sulfur compounds are absorbed by the bloodstream, carried to the lungs and released in the form of bad breath when you exhale or speak. Changing your diet to avoid foods like these can help prevent this type of bad breath.

4. ALCOHOL...Alcohol is a diuretic. When you consume alcohol in large quantities, it dehydrates you and dries out your mouth. This leads to a reduction in saliva production. Without saliva naturally cleaning your mouth, bacteria forms, which causes bad breath.

BAD BREATH CAN COME UNDER THREE CATEGORIES:

1. Morning Breath-->> Morning Breath is defined as that horrible bad taste or smell you wake with after a period of sleep. You may notice the smell on yourself or your partner. It is most obvious in the morning after sleeping all night, but it doesn't have to only be in the morning, and it can be any time of the day. If you drink alcohol before sleep, or if you snack and do not clean your mouth before sleep. Then you will notice a much increased morning breath problem when you wake.

2. Temporary Bad breath-->> is caused by stinky foods such as garlic, onion, chives, leeks (especially if these vegetables are raw), meat, fish and strong cheese
A piece of rotting food may be lodged between the teeth - a toothpick or some dental floss can usually sort out the problem
Lack of saliva - when there is insufficient saliva to irrigate the mouth. Ensure you are getting enough to drink, particularly pure water

3. Persistent Bad Breath-->> In most cases of persistent bad breath, the smell comes from a build-up of bacteria within the mouth - in food debris, in plaque and gum disease, or in a coating on the back of the tongue. Good oral hygiene will often solve the problem. That is, regular teeth brushing, cleaning between the teeth, cleaning the tongue, and mouthwashes. Other causes of persistent bad breath are uncommon.

THERE ARE SOME WAYS OF DECIDING WHETHER YOU HAVE BAD BREATH SO THAT YOU CAN FIND A REMEDY:

1. If you find your gums bleed when you brush or floss your teeth it is almost certain that you have bad breath as well.

2. Inspect your gums to see if they look red and swollen in places; if they do, it is likely  you have a bad breath..

3. It is sometimes suggested that you can detect your own bad breath by breathing out through your mouth into a paper bag and then breathing in rapidly from the bag
through your nose. You might catch a smell of your bad breath by using this method, but usually it does not work because your nose is so used with your own smell.

4. Put your tongue out a far as you can. Then lick your upper arm or the inner surface of your wrist.. Wait for second and then smell where you licked.

5.Put a piece of gauzy cloth on your tongue as far as you can without gargling. Wait for a few moment. take out he gauze let it dry and then sniff it.

Bad Breath can come about from a variety of sources all the way from the foods that you eat to a medical problem...
